Coca Cola Arena, Dubai
The Coca-Cola Arena is a multi-purpose arena located in the City Walk Area of Dubai. It is the first and largest fully air-conditioned, multi-purpose indoor arena in the Middle East and the only arena to operate year-round in the region. With a capacity of 17,000 people, the arena hosts events that include concerts, sports, family entertainment, and ceremonies.
Project details:
The project required a quality staging system that was safe and easy to use, easily set up in the shortest time possible and could host some of the world’s renowned artists and performers.
Fortunately, the arena’s operational team has experience using SICO® Staging Systems from other projects in the Middle East.
SICO® supplied the Venue Maker Pro™ for the main performance stage, the TechLite Stage, and related stage accessories. With SICO’s equipment installed, Coca-Cola Arena successfully hosted big international concerts such as Maroon 5, Westlife, Boyz II Men, and other sporting and festival events.

SICO® Venue Maker Pro Performance Stage (VMP) KEY FEATURES:
- Stage Deck – Multi-Layer Construction: A cellular honeycomb core is bonded between two 3/8” (.95cm) plywood substrates which is lightweight, strong and very quiet
- Frame – Commercial Grade Steel: High-quality steel ensures longevity of the stage’s rigidity and durability of the welds for the lifetime of the stage. Step-Through Design: V-shape frame allows for storage and easy access underneath the stage deck while in use.
- PIN Connectors – Top Levelling: (Available) Fine tune the level plane from above the deck surface. Greatly reduce set-up and levelling time. 4-Way Bridging: Bridge decks in any direction to lower the number of frames needed. 4
